Lance had metastatic testicular cancer with mets to lungs, brain and elsewhere. The surgery and chemo Lance did put his cancer into remission. Since his cancer did not recur within five years he is considered cured. There are no absolutes in life, but if Lance's cancer was going to come back, the stress and strain of training for the Tour de France would have most likely already triggered a relapse.

It's a tricky thing. But some cancers can be considered "cured" but it takes years in remission. Many are just considered in remission. Former cancer patients are not guaranteed to be plagued with the disease later in life, it depends on the patient, type of cancer and the methods of treating it. Some people get in remission and never deal with it again.

They can cure individuals with cancer but there is no cure for cancer it self. All cancers are different as are the causes of them. Until they know the cause they can't cure it as a disease.
Is Lance Armstrong cured? so far yes will it come back? Anyones guess. Will you get cancer anyones guess.

im not sure in his case, yes some people are completely cured if the cancer didnt metastisize and was completely removed and others go into remission for years, and sometimes then the cancer re-emerges and sometimes it doesnt. technically the medical definition of being cured of cancer is suriviving 5 years without significant progression of the disease

I am very blessed to have obvious Lance Armstrong cycle on L'Alpe D'Huez a couple of years in the past. I was there. That was a high-quality day. I felt real blessed to have noticeable that. I'm an atheist. After I say Thursday, i don't suddenly feel in Thor. After I say "Jesus!" when my hammer hits my thumb, it would not make Jesus actual. It simply signifies that some words have grow to be very fashioned. Just on account that *you* combine the words "blessed" and God", doesn't mean I do the equal.

Cured is such a term that doesn't fit here. He is free of symptoms right now. Yeah and wonderful. Liken cancer and treatment to this though. You have a beautiful yard. It pops up with weeds everywhere. You use roundup. Within two weeks, your yard looks glorious again. You just have to dig up the died off weeds and add a little TLC. Well, call me a hooter!!! One little ol tiny seedling is floating around, bouncing around and then someday---it seeds into the ground producing a weed. Crap!!!! You thought they were all gone. Your yard looked perfect. Get it now? There is no way for any human on this earth to predict that you will never get cancer again without looking at every single cell in your body.

i'm very blessed to have seen Lance Armstrong cycle on L'Alpe D'Huez many years in the past. i replaced into there. That replaced right into a hi there. I felt extremely blessed to have seen that. i'm an atheist. when I say Thursday, i do not immediately believe in Thor. when I say "Jesus!" at the same time as my hammer hits my thumb, it would not make Jesus genuine. It in simple terms signifies that some words have develop into very effortless. in simple terms because *you* integrate the words "blessed" and God", would not recommend I do the same.

he is in remission, meaning the cancer is not aggressive at the moment. Cancer is never totally cured, only stopped and halted for a while.

I believe he is in remission. Some cancers can be "cured" with surgery if it is not metastatic.
