For backups I use :
http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/
or ImgBurn
http://www.imgburn.com/
Then I use Linux . NOT Micros0ftLinux, true Linux, to manage all my ISOs and Images.

I would suggest Norton Ghost. Sometimes it come off as freebies to a new motherboard and also usually on a bootable CD.
