She also like Kneeds blankets, She cant have a dog bed she will destroy it. Therefore she is left in the hallway at night and this is when she chews on trim along with when she is left home alone. We also have a 11 month old Rottweiler who I take with me all the time because he isnt high strung like she is she barks at everything which leads me to leave her at home. I dont know what to do she likes that bitter apple she licks it off. What can I do? Please Help !

One theory- separation anxiety. She is chewing to relieve tension, and young enough not to inhibit that need, no matter how upset you get about it.
Solution- Plastic crate when you are not home and at night in someone's room.
Obedience training so she can become more confident and well behaved enough to go with you as well.

U need to get your dog some bones or a thick piece of wood to chew on or a stuff animal.
Fix the dog a bed and put a bone in it with the dog.
This is natural for dogs to chew on anything wood, plastic, stuff, or an old shoe will do.

Put her in a crate when you are gone and at night until she outgrows the chewing. There is a product that is called Repel that tastes bad to make squirrels stop chewing on wood, so it might work for dogs.

Get the hottest hot sauce you can find.
I think your larger problem is that this dog seems like she has other issues. Take her to obedience school so that she can be well-trained enough to come with you when you go out like your Rottie does. This pup seems a little out of control.

Get a crate for night time and when you are gone.
If you don't want to do that, there is another stronger spray called "yuck mouth" available at PetSmart.
It MIGHT work. Spray the areas just before retiring at night or when leaving.

She just wants to be with you, and takes her frustration out on part of what she thinks is keeping her from you or your son.

If she is your dog make a bed for her on the floor in there.

If she is your son's dog make a bed for her in there.

When you stop and think dog behavior you see dogs (wolves) living in packs, right? Well, your family is her pack members and she does not want to be left out in the cold with out her family. She just wants to be close.

my dobie, like all dobies, chew on everyting they can. the best thing is to watch them and have anything they can chew on out of reach. you can try to find a safe liquid to dogs, that he does not like and put it on objects you dont want him touching

Sounds like she might have a problem with her teeth. You should have your vet check them out.
