wow. you have the exact same problem I do. me and my ex broke up 3 years ago and I still break down and cry. I don't think about any of my other ex's that way. Just him. He's the only one I've ever really felt close to. I don't know if it's normal, but you're not alone.

I don't know about "normal" but it does happen to some of us when we lose somebody that was really special to us. I would think if it's an occasional sadness, that's fairly normal. But if you are heartbroken like it happened yesterday, that's not good and counseling my be the best way to go. It's so hard to lose somebody you did not want to lose.

no, it's not worth it,,,by now you should have had a another relationship...but on the other hand,,,my ex which is my daughter's dad can't get over the fact that we broke up and it's been 20yrs,,,I'm happy and he's miserable ,,,,can't understand why he can't have a life and leave the past alone...you don't want to be like this guy,,,so , go and have a good life with someone that will appreciate you,,,,,,,

No it's far from normal go see a therapist and get things off your chest may even be something else completely causing this
