my sister is trying to find some shows where she can show her lurcher. she has been entered in to two local agricultural shows and won both times. now she is trying to find some more shows but can't seem to. can anyone help

go to a decent newsagent and ask him to order you the COUNTRYMANS WEEKLY its not expensive its a weekly magazine that lists forthcoming events such as terrier&lurcher shows all over country.I go to them myself.

I am probably not much help, but maybe you could try looking online for a local Kennel Club in your area. I would also try looking up Lurcher breeders in your area and see if they can help you. You also may be able to look online for the registration company that the dog is registered with.

Think she needs to look in some magazines like Countrymans weekly, Shooting Times maybe? If you puts Lurcher & Terrier shows" into Google, she may get some leads (no pun intended!)

Dumfriesshire greyhound rescue has a xmas fayre with a dog show incorporated in it.For more info go to www.dgrescue.org.uk and they'll be able to tell you all the show's that's happening.(they re-home ex-racing greyhounds and sometimes lurchers).I live in Dumfries but that's the only show's i know of.
