It depends what you want to say..e.g.
Je suis..I am
tu es...you(familiar) are
il/elle est...he/she is
nous sommes...we are
vous etes...you (formal/plural) are
ils/elles sont...they are.
similarly aller/to go:-
Je vais
tu vas
il/elle va
nous allons
vous allez
ils/elles vont

Je
Tu (familiar, sometimes "thou"), Vous (polite to one person.)
I IL (for a male), Elle (for a female)
Nous (we and us: pour nous: for us)
Vous (familiar and polite for a group of persons)
ILs (for males only - and for males and females)
Elles (for females only)
With the verb to be and go (être et partir):
Je suis parti (partie si female), tu es parti (e),
il est parti, elle est partie,
Nous sommes partis, vous êtes partis
Ils sont partis, elles sont parties.
Parti: is (le participe passé)
That's all and I think it's enough for today. Good luck
Salut.

je
tu (singular)
il/elle/on
nous
vous
ils/elles
j'ai is the verb avoir - to have
it is irregular so doesnt follow the normal pattern
avoir goes
j'ai
tu as
il/elle a
nous avons
vous avez
ils elles ont.

These are personal pronouns which are only used when followed by a verb eg Je suis (I am), j'ai (I have), nous allons (we go/are going). These pronouns cannot stand alone so if you say in answer to 'who is it' you would say c'est moi and not c'est je.

yes, those are the pronouns.
for "to have"
j'ai
tu as
il a
elle a
nous avons
vous avez
ils/elles avont
for "to go"
je vais
tu vas
il va
elle va
nous allons
vous allez
ils/elles ont ? (this last one i'm not sure of)
but typically the endings follow the same pattern for basic verbs

Verbs and tences were a pain.
il - male he
elle - female she
Vous - you (female)
nous - you (Male)
ils - he is
ells - she is
French, like most of the European languages have verbs that are either male or female. The ja and je are I in both male/female.
German is even worse with the extra one (nuter)
