There are special provisions for spouses of US government employees serving overseas. Your husband should ask at the Legal Affairs office about "expedititous naturalization." That is a process whereby he files the immigrant visa petition for you and the embassy nearest where you are, they approve it, you apply for the immigrant visa, enter the US as a new immigrant, and then go immediately (well within a few days) to your citizenship interview and naturalization ceremony.

The process works very well - I used it after I married my husband, who was from India. He flew from Seoul to Honolulu and was a US citizen within a week. I also used it for my two adopted daughters. It just has to be set up in advance. Ask the Legal Affairs office; ask the Embassy.
