Ok, I'm getting sick and tired of answering a PERFECTLY mature question about Sex only to have it get deleted by the moderators. I had 3 paragraphs to answer this perfectly mature question about sex, and it gets deleted. What a waste of time.
Question: Why Doesn't Yahoo Do an Adult Section? Wouldn't That Be Wise?
There are lots of perfectly mature, honest questions about sex that I see get deleted all the time. "Oh, but the kids will get into the adult section." Does that really matter? I see worse questions asked on this dating section than I see anywhere else, and they don't get deleted. Yet the perfectly, honestly mature ones for the most part, do.

Yahoo won't have an Adult Section for the same reason they shouldn't have a Religions section; everyone abuses it. Whatever mature questions you might have that would be better suited in an adult section, everyone else and their brother would be asking retarded questions like "MY C*CK'S 2 FEET LONG!!!! WANT MY PHONE NUMBER?????", or "how big are your t*ts?????". It's like in the Religions section. The only true application I can see about that section is to learn what people interpret from reading This Verse, or what God thinks about Doing That, that sort of thing. Instead, all you ever read in there are questions about why Christians, Muslims, and atheists are all retarded. :S
Maybe an Adult Section would be a good idea, but it would just be misused to no end.

It guess it depends on how graphic it is. You wrote 3 paragraphs right? Maybe they thought it was too much. Or maybe someone reported you. An Adult section would be a very good idea because it will get hings organized and we could be able to answer in more detail. But, on the other hand, it would probably attract more kids anyways. I think you should E-Mail the moderators and demand an reason as to why they delete your answers.

I agree 100%. I couldn't believe when I joined that there wasn't a section for that type of stuff. Kids wouldn't find anything on here in an "adult" section that they couldn't find elsewhere on the internet, and at least what they would find on here would be informative (minus what some morons would post). How many "kids" are on Answers contributing anything that constructive anyway - they should make a Yahoo Kids. In the least, they could have it required that you check a box saying you're over 18 when you sign up for this, like other websites do. They could lie, but who cares, it's not Yahoo's fault...

i agree 100% with you.
its definitely not fair that some of the most immature questions about sex get through, but some, even sometimes mine which is very mature and in desperate need for help or something, doesnt get through.
for the age thing, why doesnt Yahoo make it so only a certain age limit can enter the forum section? that way those who have serious questions and are too embarassed to ask family and friends can go there to make themselves feel relieved that theres answers for them.

I got reported for asking if Santa was a perv. A woman thought her 8 yr old would read it and be afraid of Santa. Its scarier that a hypocrite would allow her 8 yr old to be in the single's section of yahoo. I have a lot of deletions over stupid things.
We need better parenting and less censorship. Read this quickly before it gets deleted.

This topic has come up before, is there a way to contact Yahoo! about this? If they have adult only profiles, I don't see why they can't have an adult Yahoo Answers section.
This should really be brought up to Yahoo.

I got hit with a Questionnaire. and I pointed that very thing out. I saw it, on another Suggestion. "Everybody out of the Kiddie Pool". Was how it was written. Look for ways to voice your opinion. I'm tired of raising these Kids, anyway.
