That could mean one of 2 things.
1. He doesn't want to get married.
2. He doesn't want to get married to you.
If marriage is important to you, find a man who has a compatible outlook on marriage- don't hang around wasting your time hoping one day he'll change his mind, and don't shack up, giving him the benefits of marriage without any real commitment.

when a guy says he does not want to get married that is what he means. He is also telling you he will not let you trap him into getting married

Well it depends........have you been dating for a LONG TIME or did you just start? Just because he does not want to get married
now does not mean he wont change his mind in the future.
Of course, IF you have been together for a couple years and he still has not desire to EVER be married........then you need to decide how important marriage it to you.......cuz chances are
you wont be marrying him.

no. if he wasn't into you he wouldn't be dating you. unless he was just using you. and if he was you would know because he'd treat you like poop and you'd be able to sense it with your spidey senses. if he says he's not ready to be married that just means he isn't ready to make such a commitment. give him some time and let him become more comfortable with the thought of marriage. he's just isn't ready to settle down. give him time.
