Piddling puppies?

My dog went into heat for the first time this week and she's been peeing constantly. I've got an appointment to get her fixed Tuesday but I was wondering if a dog that's in heat for the first time keeps peeing in little bits or could it be a UTI?

our dog did the same thing when she was in heat...peeing a bit...soon it will be all over....lol
