Ok so I have long straight hair. I used to be able to scrunch it with moose without the use of a dryer. Now its got longer and heaveir and my layers have almost reached the same length as my hair and it does not scrunch no matter how much i try it just falls out and looks a mess. I was thinking about getting a difuser but will it make much diffrence? Or do you think it will it be a big mess? thnx 2 whoever replys. xxx

Diffusers work well when you have the blow-dryer at a low setting. It is best to dry it bent over with your head upside down and the diffuser blowing the hair up. It should help some, but the best way to get curl is layers.

I use a difuser and it works really well, but I have curly hair. I think if you cut your layers a bit shorter, the difuser would help scrunch it more easily. Just an idea! :-)

No a diffuser won't help much. Your layers are too long & heavy. Best to get a hair cut.

its because your hair is weighing itself down being all one length. Layers make a HUGE DIFFERENCE even if its a few long layers. deffusers help a lot too but if your hair is really thick and its all one length its really going to be pointless to get a deffuser.
