Many years ago, I read this text, and it sent me searching both the Bible and history to see if there was any possibility that Solomon's temple could be rebuilt. Without going into detail, I have found evidence that the Queen of Sheba was so impressed with Solomon's temple, that when she returned home she built a temple that was patterned in detail after Solomon's Temple. That Structure is still standing and is in "good repair" for a 3000 year old building. It could be used as a model to build a new temple.

The Queen's son saw the riches of Solomon's kingdom and wanted it. After she died he attacked Israel and took all the furnishings of the temple. He did not take the Ark of the Covanant. (It was hidden) He was a very vain man. He had cavings made of all those furnishings on the wall of the storehouse where they were kept. The furnishings have long since vanished, but the carvings are still there. I also believe that I am not the first to make this discovery. I am sure the Israeli government knows this too. Some key things must happen, but when they do, I believe that a new temple will be constructed. I would not be suprised at all if all the furnishings have already been re-made. Remember that many Israelis are waiting for Messiah to come.

When Messiah comes this time He will be anointed as King. (Just as Saul and David were anointed as King by Samuel.)

Hope this helps

Jesus was the anointed one. The prophecy started with the rebuilding of the temple. Ended with Jesus being put to death and then the Gospel to the gentiles 3.5 years later. Follow the lessons below.
