I want to have a fair and balanced discussion about Islam to include everyone as well as Muslims.

My issue is that when anyone who has a legitimate difference of opinion of Islam or a question that may seem critical of Islam... Muslims automatically say the person is a liar or biased against Islam or something worst.

So Muslims can you point me to a website that you can safely say is neither pro-islam nor biased against Islam and simply a place where people can discuss Islam openly and fairly... perhaps intelligently debate the issues?

Or are you only aware of Muslim run ProIslam biased websites?

Because I have questions of Islam but it seems the only response I get from Muslims is... devote hours and hours to reading the koran and hadith etc...

And yet they go to their advisers when their readings are not fruitful.

Their are many exmuslims who know Islam very well and they have raised many questions that I would like to give a fair chance to Muslims to help me understand their side of things.

There are very very bright people who have their Doctorate in Theology who disagree with Islam.

For example http://news.faithfreedom.org is run by a former devout Muslim who speak against Islam.

Then their is http://www.prophetofdoom.org

The man that created the book prophet of doom, spent over 10,000 hours studying islam through the koran, hadith and a few other key books and translations from prominent Muslims and he came to the conclusion that islam is evil.

Why should I spend thousands of hours reading something without using my critical factors to help me properly assess it's validity.

But if you raise questions that may even appear to be critical of Islam then they say it is bias against Islam.

How bout it is common sense and logic that makes someone question things then they form a bias when the followers refuse to answer without getting angry and spitting venom?

Another example is Apostates of Islam at http://www.apostatesofislam.com

These are people who know Islam in and out, why because they used to be Muslim. Therefore they chose to leave Islam because they had questions that remained unanswered about Islam or because they believe they have discovered that Islam is evil or full of lies or whatever.

I simply have questions of Muslims with respect to these questions that those who have left Islam are bringing up.

Unfortunately most of the websites you have mentioned are setup to spread hatred and lies.
If you have any serious questions about Islam then you should ask a Muslim scholar.
I know of websites where you can submit questions - but on on-line forums you may be misled by someone whose knowledge is limited.
