I'm 13 And I'm about 125 pounds, and like 2 weeks ago i was 119, how the hell did i gain weight so fast? Oh and i'm 4 feet and 11 inches i think.

I tried doing push ups i can only do 5, and i did like 20 sit ups, and i lift 15 pounds of weight 50 times each day on each arm. If i continue to do this will i lose weight?

don't force yourself to lose weight i tried that.I actually think your weight is normal for a boy your age but if you feel UN comfortable with you wight then i totally back you up on losing it. i am 13 too. i am a girl and sadly weigh 116 my parents think its normal i can do over 20 push ups and over 50 sit ups but that's because i workout everyday maybe you should do what i did. first start with like 3 push ups and add an extra push up everyday and try that and if you do like 20 sit ups try and add 5 everyday it really works. But Make sure you don't over do it and make sure you drink a lot of water and try eating more fruits and vegetables and cut off on the junk food. OH and keep up with the weights there use full.

Hmm... you are a bit on the chubby side. You should work out everyday. Maybe after dinner you can take a walk around your neighborhood or bicycle. Try doing as much jump squats in one minute and run half a mile each day. Lifting weights help your upper bdy strength and doesn't guarantee losing weight. Eat fruits and vegetables and never sit on the couch watching TV with a bag of potatoe chips. Control what you do.

If you are trying to lose fat then JUST lifting weights and push ups and sit ups should not be the plan you use. Cardio such as running, bicycling, and/or swimming along with a diet that includes water and fruits and vegetables will go a LONG way. Good luck

It is probably only a growth spurt. It could be your metabolism slowing down a bit. As you get older, your metablism slows down. Don't worry. Just eat healthy. Don't starve yourself!

As for working out, just do what you can at the moment. As you get used to your workout regime, you can slowly increase the load or number of reps (repetative motions, such as lifting a weight). Don't rush yourself in your workout. You could injure yourself. Just slowly increase the intensity of the exercise as you get used to it. Even if you're not seeing any results. Be patient and work slow.

Good luck!

you are still growing, so your body is going to be changing a lot, especially in the next 3 or so years. eat healthy and go for a nice long walk every night. doing weights at your age is not good because you can both seriously hurt yourself, and stunt your growth (a personal trainer told me that)

keep fit and have fun!

Sweetie, just stay the way you are. You are going to get taller and will slim down and if you keep your work out up you will lose but maybe instead of all that do something you enjoy, riding a bike, skating etc.

Stop eating junk. Become a vegetarian and just start walking. You will lose weight easily.

You may just be going through a growth spurt. Most people go through many changes around your age. I wouldn't be too worried about it just yet. If you gain much more, check with your doctor.
