I have very curly hair as well. I recently purchased suave gel. I like it. Before I always used herbal essance and they changed it somehow. It's just not the same. It's hard when you get used to a certain product and they discontinue it or change it!

i also have curly hair and i know this sounds strange, but i have used everything under the sun ,and my best tip is whatever conditioner you use ,i use s and c for dry damaged hair it is L`oreal elvive, when i have shampooed and conditioned, i brush my hair out straight then getting a towel i scrunch my hair in to a curl using towel ,then i put a little bit off the same conditioner in the palm of my hands and apply to hair scrunching at all times if i think i need more i put more on ,always stay away from roots as you don`t weant roots to look greasey ,then i towel dry my hair ,no drier ,and i swear my hair looks really curly and when it is dry i keep turning head upside down to bunch hair up and hey presto my hair look natural ,i find with having blonde hair when i use gel it darkens my hair and goes all sticky and hard, this is my way of keeping my hair curly and really nice !!!

you need to manage to hit upon a pair effective gels at objective or Walmart which will do the trick. i love Tresemme's sparkling gel (no alcohol, so received't make your hair stiff and freaky). basically verify labels and get a non-drying gel that doens't contain SD Alcohol 40.

I use a pomade by Got2B - define + shine; it works really well to keep curls bouncy and leaves my hair shiny, not sticky, either. I like to mix it with a bit of Biosilk Silk Therapy Treatment - adds more shine.
