I believe God is. He is all things we cant even begin to fathom with our 10% brain usage.
I have seen demons/angels, I have been privy to unexplained phenomena, ie: healing, premonition, hearing God. Could it be our own divinity as humans? or physical/psycologically explained I suppose it is a possiblity. I call it creation of God.

Honestly.Think about it.If God exists, then where is heaven? The heaven that was described in the bible has already been replaced by space. The bible was merely a tool for controlling the masses. And on some level, explaining natural occurances.People turning to salt stones? For looking back at a burning city? No.Near the dead sea (which contains a very large salt deposit) there are pillars built up over time from this accumulations of salt and various other minerals.I suppose some of them bare some resemblance to a human being. So with the very primitve science they had, they needed an explanation.Have you ever felt good about not knowing an answer?Imagine how they felt. They needed an answer. Here goes." God did it!".Love him.Fear him.Whatever, or your body will burn in hell forever.Basically, Catholics were in charge. They are a government. An anarchy. And should anyone ever start thiunking differently. There goes all their power.Something they really aren't too intrested in sacrificing. But we all need something to believe in.We all need hope.A reason to live everyday. So here.Live in a way that people will remember and carry on for yrs and yrs.A legacy that won't be forgotten anytime soon. And you'll live on in the hearts of the people who love you.Help those people move forward. The further they go, the further you go.

There is no scientific evidence that there is a god. There is, however, a plethora of evidence supporting the theory of evolution, which would suggest that there is in fact no god. Now, although this cannot be proven 100%, there is no factual basis whatsoever for a belief in any god. And, if there was a god, who is to say which is the correct one? Do you believe in the "Jewish" god? The "Christian" god? or the "Muslim" god? And even if there was a god, I seriously doubt that he would encourage any kind of religious belief such as we have today. Think about it. How many of the wars, mass murders and invasions that have taken place in this world are a direct result of religious beliefs? How is it that some people can believe that they are going to go to heaven just for believing a book with no factual evedience in it, where someone else, who holds different beliefs, will go to hell, without any kind of judgement based on either persons' actions?
Also, if the arguement for a god being in existence is that the world is too complex to have just happened, answer me this:
If that's true, then obviously said god must be much, much more complex still, and therefore there is no way said god could have possibly just come into existence without another, even greater being, creating him.
The existence of a god is in general a pretty worthless discussion anyways, for two reasons: One, anyone with any kind of religious belief won't listen to any reasoning or logic denying it, and Two, there really is no way to prove it one way or the other.

Well, I'm a little skeptical of you. A good Jewish girl would have spelled it G-d. But, since you're skeptical, maybe you skirt blaphemy a little for the heck of it.
Proving God imperically is virtually impossible unless I could produce God and have God work some miracles for you and others.
So, let's try another approach. The ONLY other one there is. Science.
Science says the MASS of the Universe has alwasy been here and will always be here in approximately the same quantity.
SCIENCE says there is SOMETHING that exists perpetually, with no known beging or ending. That is called MASS. Free electrons, positrons, neutrons, hydrogen, rocks, debris, compounds of elements like iron, etc.
So science accepts the "eternal" as a given based on "faith."
Now science says these things behave randomly, but there are laws or rules. One of those laws or rules is that big rocks attract smaller rocks flying nearby at slow speeds and they fall to the big rock and make an even bigger rock.
They also theorize some other things exist, like black holes which are spent out sun cores so dense that light can't even escape, even though we've never examined one close up.
Now, these two things attract other things and over time this huge mass object occurs and it can't hold it's own mass together so it explodes BANG and spews out hot mass into the nothingness.
This random hot mass becomes this, that and the other and one day some inorganic chemicals (sulfur, etc.) come together and form a cosmic murk and because of the right conditions those inorganics magically fuse and out comes the first organic compound, which is still a chemical known as an Amino Acid and from this other organics like Protein strains are form and from this small organics that can be called "life forms" such as virus, bacterium and molds occurs.
Over the ages these things make creatures that live in water, then on land then in the air and eventually YOU came out of this murk.
The Cosmic Casino automatically with no mind or soul, muck into the unverse and one day it threw a lucky 7 and YOU appeared.
That's you're alternative. You're a freak accident. You just "happened."
We've never been able to duplicate this in a lab, but this is how Science things you got here.
Now you got two choice.
God, an ultra intellegent being "created" you with willful intent, like man creates a Dishwasher, XBox, Auto, Air Conditioner, jar of Apple Sauce, house or TV set, or the Cosmic Casino lucked out and hit the right magical combination to automatically make you out of muck without any conscious help and somehow you managed to climb out of this muck and create things.
Ball is back in your court. Choice is yours.

You must define God before you can decide if he exists.
So let's start with a basic God, the god who may have created the universe, then walked away. No miracles, just a simple deist God who wrote the laws of the universe.
Why must we presume such a god exists? For millenia humans have credited "god" with something, then figured out that science explains it perfectly? Lightening use to be angry gods, then we figured out that its just friction in the skies.
Humans used to be created, then the theory of evolution explained where life came from?
The Universe use to be static and eternal, then science figured out the big band, inflationary theory, quantum mechanics and relativity.
Now some questions remain, like how the bang "banged". But given the track record, just because we don't know the answer now, doesn't mean that we won't someday. No God in history has as good a track record as science and reason in answering questions.
Lastly, current scientific thought thinks that the big bang started with a relatively small ball of mass, perhaps smaller than the room you are in. What do you think is more likely, that a ball of matter simply "exists", or this God? Since I have seen matter, touched matter, and studied matter, it makes much more sense to me that the initial stage of our universe "just exists" than some crazy conscious God "just exists". Since God is more complicated then matter, then it would follow logically that he must ALSO be created...it's an endless loop.
Ultimately, I am agnostic on the idea of a deist god versus an natural beginning to our universe. But I am specifically atheistic with regard to any specific proposal of a god. I chose not to believe, I do no chose to say absolutely there is not god.
Hope that helps. Remaining agnostic and open minded is fine. No one needs to make up there minds absolutely about something that is ultimately irrelevant anyway.

You ask if God exists, but you really want people to say only what you want to hear! This is NOT what you wanted to hear. God does exist, and has shown proof of His Existence from time before time. He has given you the utmost desire to seek Him out, but you instead challenge your own desire to find Him by pushing Him aside. If you won't see what's in front of your face or hear what's in your heart, how then will you recognize His proof when it is revealed to you? People have often argued against His existence by saying that the Bible was written by men. What book other than His Word has stood the test of time, and changed the hearts of an innumerable amount of people than those words spoken by the Lord God Almighty. Know that He Is because He could let you stew in your own ignorance of Him, but instead will send His people to encoourage you, to embrace you, and hopefully lead you to Him! I hope this has helped you! God's Love Be Upon You! Amen! May you also come to know Jesus Christ! He Is The Son Of God!

Why hanker about God? Isn't the existence enough. You are in some part of the world. I am in other part. Look how we are connected! isn't is amazing? Life is full of such amazing things. OSHO says God has never been there. Only GODLINESS was there. Whole existence is the proof of GODLINESS. Existence is the proof of life. You are living. That is the proof of existence. Existence of god is not question of proof. Godliness has its own proof. You may be Jewish, but inner existence knows no religion. 'Jesus is not the son of God'. He was the son of carpenter. But you can also become offspring of existence, Godliness. Be happy, why ponder about poor God!

I agree with the comment that this is something you need to decide for yourself... but you asked for opinions, so I'll tell you what I think.
In my opinion, the Christian interpretation of God can be disproven using the whole "eternal punishment" concept. A punishment is supposed to have a definite end so the person has a chance to realize his mistakes and be better in the future. A punishment that has no end isn't fair at all; it's torture. There's no possible way, in my opinion, that a loving God could possibly subject anyone -- HIS creations, mind you -- to burn not for a thousand years, not for a million years, but forever, and I don't care if it's "their decision" or not. That doesn't disprove God outright, but it disproves the idea that God is so fair and just -- and I don't know about you, but I can't possibly imagine a deity doing things like that to his own creations.

well, in the old testiment of the Bible predicts Jesus will come as a Savior and as a conquering King (at the end of the Tribulation). Since the Jewish people were looking for a conqeuring King, they rejected Jesus as God's son as a Savior for Humanity.

I agree with the first answerer. We have the bible for prove but you don't want to believe that. You will have to wait for a turning point in your life or an experience that will make you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son Of God..God does exsist he is everywhere, who else could have created the whole planet? I've already had my experiences to make me believe that God does exsist. He has saved me about 4 times from death and for your info "luck" wouldn't have been enough to save me 4 times! God bless...x

You will only get what you are asking for if you do it yourself. You will only get proof if you prove to yourself that he exists. I can say my faith proves that he exists, but that's not your faith so it can't prove his existence to you. Maybe it's because if you read the bible you read it from a literal standpoint only. God is spirit. We must worship him in spirit and in truth. If you read the bible as if you were looking for not only the literal truth but spiritual truth as well then you will have the proof you are looking for. That takes being born again, having the eyes of your understanding being enlightened.
