you want motivation. Get your husband or a chum to flow with you to stroll, workout or get a club to a health center. I used to weigh 197, i'm 5'6, sz 14..my objective is to weigh 143. Now I weigh 191 & it really is because i finished ingesting soda, ingesting quickly-food & junk food. I substituted the soda for water, junk food for fruit & quickly-food for selfmade food. I also all started ingesting breakfast..both a yogurt & banana, cereal or oatmeal. i did not extremely imagine ingesting breakfast made a distinction in spite of the undeniable fact that it does. also ingesting small snacks by way of the day helps plenty so even as it really is time for lunch or dinner you received't overeat. I lost those 6 lbs without workout. i become embarrased of going to a health center because an excellent type of the human beings already seem in fantastic condition or skinny. I basically were given a club to a health center some days in the past. I had by no ability been to a health center to workout consultation so i become clueless on the thanks to apply the machines. I felt so undesirable because a guy & a lady were guffawing at my husband & I on account that we did not comprehend the thanks to operate the kit. i become embarrased before everything yet then I used it as motivation. My factor is do not get discouraged. do not let every person positioned you down or make you imagine that you'll be able to't try this. Drink plenty & a good number of water.....fantastically in the previous food so that you'll experience finished speedier.

I lost weight by a strict diet where I only ate healthy foods so alot of vegetables, lean meat, health low cal snacks, lots of water. I also counted the amount of calories I was eating. I allowed myself around 1,300-1,400 cal per day. I also did cardio for 30-45mins 3-4 times a week I did an interval training meaning running hard for 5 mins and brisk walking for 5 mins and then running again. I also did 45 min free weights 2 times a week. In two and a half months I lost 20lbs.

I'd start with water aerobics, a stationery bike or walking. Or join Curves.
I would recommend a program that is supervised or exercising with a partner rather than being alone, just in case you body has a reaction to the activity.

As you get more fit and lose some weight, you can progress to different exercises and you will become confident of what your body can do.

Good health to you!

Try to walk from 45 minutes to an ahoureveryday, but don´t push your self too hard. Set a goal for your self , the first week do 15 min. , the second add 5 minutes more, and so on. If you get tired or if you feel bad, then take it slow. Eventually you will be walking an hour everyday, without noticing it. And you be loosing weigth too : ) get your walkman with you or invite some friends to go with you. Good luck.

There's a new diet plan for 2007, designed specifically for those needing to lose 50-100 pounds or more and keep it off forever.
It's called The Logic Diet, and NO exercise is required to see the results!
This plan is so flexible, it'll let you allow for your health problems when choosing your foods to include in the plan and still meet the requirements!
Also, you get to eat LOTS of food in the early Stages so you keep your sanity during the process.

I really can't recommend resistance bands enough. They're inexpensive, don't take up any space, travel well, and you can work out with them while watching TV. They're great for beginners especially, and those with limited mobility.
I'd suggest talking to your doctor to have a stress test done, they can determine exactly how much and how hard you can work out safely. It's wonderful that you want to become more healthy and fit, but you shouldn't compromise yourself.
Not everyone is interested in working out via DVD, but it's had some good results for me. What might work for you is a series called "Yoga For Round Bodies". You can find it on Amazon and I'm pretty sure the installments are fairly inexpensive. Good luck, you can do it!

the best way would be for you to do some walking. A little at first and increase by a quarter of a mile each time you walk. If you havent exercised for a long time i would recommend you walk no more than a mile on your first go. It will be good all round cardio for you. I would suggest also if you want to lose weight quickly/safely and cheaply then go to the following:

Don't Worry You will lose the 90 lbs! Just Walk 30min. to an Hour at first then later try the Elliptical for an hour!
If you burn 500 calories every session in a week that is one pound gone! (given that you eat like you normally do)
Just make changes gradually and most important
Don't be too hard on yourself!

Well as always, it's best to ask your physician what is safe for you. But my advice is to walk. It IS a weight bearing exercise and you can easily adjust speed as you go. Start out with what feels comfortable for you. It's a great stress buster and most people feel better just by being outside. Good luck!

Before you start and exercise, you should go and talk to your doctor and get the OK. Then start slowly. Try walking first but do not over do it. Go for about 15 mins and work you way up.
