Keep it in an airtight container and in a cool dry place and you should be good to go. I like the modular mates that tupperware has. I forgot about a container of chips that I had for quite sometime and there were still fresh as the day I bought them.

toss it i had old rice when i went to cook it & added water it had BUGS
