Maybe they just want the conversation to be over.

I do not think that they are hiding evil. I would say that there are some people who, even if they believe the same as you, do not like to discuss how they really feel, or they may just be tired.

this question amuses me. im a christian, and i work with young teenage girls. teenagers and crazy and do crazy things; hey we were all there! however, if you read the bible it tells you that faith is obtained by hearing to the word of god. god is a gentleman, he will never force you to love or believe in him; hence the seed of choice we all are born with (which is most evident when your 1 1/2 year old son tells you no; who taught him the concept of choice or of no? my point exactly) when you "witness" to someone, you speak with love, for it is the love of god that attracks people to him. we are no one to judge or condemn people; john 3:16-21 speaks about how he came to save us, not to condemn us.
i dont kno you or your testimony; what god delievered you from. but i kno mine, and i kno i wouldnt be where im at if someone was assuming that i was hiding evil things. it was god's loving mercy and kindness some person had that saved me and convinced me that hes the way the truth and the life.
dont stop witnessing, believe it or not, something is being planted in the hearts of those you preach to, your words arnt said in vain. however, speak in love, and humbleness, and if you are righteous before the eyes of the lord, than you will see the fruit of your works!!
god bless, and keep strong in the faith, and remember that your words are empty if they arnt lead by the spirit...you should always speak with the word!
=)

Apply this reasoning to anything else: if you're talking to someone about real estate prices, and they don't tell you their salary, are they hiding evil?
No, they're hiding their salary.
Not everyone wants to share everything.

christan's are the worst for hiding their evil and if you don't look closely you will not see what it is their hiding while they hold their self righteousness in one hand and their precious bible in the other... the evil is behind all of that and they like to think that because they hold on to that then no one will see- wow where they wrong :) :) :)

I would suppose so. Typically silence is a bad response.
