While I am not Christian and not entirely certain I am an atheist, I would lean more toward atheism than any other core belief. You could ask the very same question about why Christians tend to be all knowledable about atheism. Basically, there is a large segment of the population which is uncomfortable with their own beliefs, and need to make others uncomfortable, as well.
Personally, if a person is happy and fulfilled by their belief, no matter how loony I may think it is, I wish them all the best.

It's a free forum. Just because you say "christians only" doesn't mean a non-christian can't answer. On top of that christians in the U.S. have been speaking for everyone else long enough. It's time to respond to all christian questions with the truth whether the answerer is christian or not.

And Christians can't stay away from "Atheist questions". I think that everyone pretty much answers whatever they like. If someone wants to ask a question, they should be open to answers from the entire YA community, that's what it's here for.

I don't know, I generally only respond to "Christians only" questions if they're making comments about atheists inside. If someone just comes here and posts a general question about a Bible verse, I'll leave it alone. But then you have questions like "Christians only: How can we convert more non-believers?" -- I AM a "non-believer" so I don't see why I'm supposed to ignore that.

Yeah, I'll totally go for a question that says Christians only. Like a lamp for a moth, that one.
Otherwise I just answer questions that mention atheists. Because they're always full of crap that needs flushing out.
Hope this helps.

Ever noticed how Christians like to make another account and bash other religions?? Islam is a very popular choice for them.
Do they do that to take the attention away from their religion?

I'll not be the only one to say this but, ever notice how christians (and others to be fair) can't stay away from questions about the occult? They always have to jump in with warnings about satan.

What's your point? You see how many Christians answer the 'atheists only' questions - I never put anything like that though.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion - even ignorant theists - and how would we have fun without them?

If you say in you question that you only want a particular group to answer, the excluded groups will automatically want to answer. Human nature. This happens all thru out answers. If you say 'Women Only' then rest assured that men will answer. If you say 'Athiests Only' then non-athiests will answer. If you say 'Smurf hating elderly retired police officers only' then you will get some really interesting responses.

It's the same all around. Just like a lot of Xians here can't not answer a Pagan or Wiccan question.
