a bump there. It gets sore sometimes but it didn't appear until I bit my cheek. Is it possible to get a bump there even if it was a couple months ago and why does it get sore sometimes?

I had my wisdom teeth removed about four months ago. If it was serious, do you think the dentist would have told me about it?

Sorry to hear about this. Yes, it is possible to get a bump there. You may be biting it in your sleep. Did you recently have any dental work done? Sometimes it could throw off your bite. If you did, go back to your dentist and tell them what is happening. Try not to play with it or suck on it. good luck. If it continues to bother you, go to an oral surgeon. He will know what to do with it.

Try swishing with warm salt water a couple times a day when it gets sore. Tell your dentist about it the next time you go for a visit. If it gets larger, make an appointment to have it checked out sooner.

i think you have a canker sore. You can get some ointment to help heal and numb the pain. It could be because your teeth rub against your cheek

Could be that you are biting the inside of your mouth while you're asleep and you don't realize it. If it continues and its bothersome, ask your dentist for a mouth piece at night. He'll get you fitted for one :)
