My husband and I are buying our first home. WE are moving from a one bedroom to a 4 bedroom house. Thinking about decorating makes me get overwhelmed. I know that we're going to take our time with buying furniture but there seems to be a lot more involved. We decided to do concrete floors. We like bold rich colors on the walls. I just need to know where do I begin to start looking for room ideas? Any good websites? Websites on concrete flooring? Any suggestions from anyone? Let me know. PLEASE!!!

i purchased a house six years ago that was in foreclosure and in complete shambles....and you are going to think i am crazy but i sat quietly in each room and let the room dictate its needs to me...also I pick up alot of magazines, watch and google HGTV, i shed my fears because anything i did icould easily undo...In my family rm I used an inspiration fabric, it was a table runner I found that had the greatest colors in it and I brought it to the paint store to customize my paint........Concrete flooring is soooo beautiful and you can tint it too.....Experiment and have fun...my home is sooo beautiful now, check out the IKEA catalogs....or the spiegel catalog.....my living room ceiling is the color of the early evening sky....just remember ya can't ruin it cuz you can just re do it...

what state are you inn i can direct you to someone close to help avoid freight charge most dealers will deliver for free..... i am a redimix-cement producer... are you doing a slab house or are you going to have a basement with concrete floors on all the floors. i also suggest you put radiant heat in the concrete will help with the heating bill.
