can we both file head of household as we both have qualifying children?

To file head of household, you have to pay more than half the expenses of maintaining the household. You can't both have paid more than half. So no, only one of you would be eligible to file that way, probably the one who made the most unless the other one paid most of the bills. Having a qualifying child is only ONE of the requirements to file head of household.

There can only be one head of household. If you plan to claim an earned income credit, the qualifying children have to be related to you, and your child from a previous relationship is not related to your boyfriend.

Not all bills will go in his name.. its whoever signed up for the services. Only one can claim head of the house.. although Im not sure how it works if you arent married. I would file with the one who had the lowest income.

boyfriend is head of house because nothing personal but its normally males hat are more dominant and if you make him head of house allnbills will go in his name lol
