Hydrogen Peroxide should only be used if you have an oral wound, not as an everyday mouth wash. It can cause your 'taste buds' to elongate and be almost 'hair-like', and can stain your teeth. Using Listerine is best, but if Listerine is too harsh for your gum tissue or causes dry mouth, try a mouth rinse that is alcohol-free like Crest Pro Health.

I have used hydrgen peroxide. It's fine, too. You are not supposed to swallow it though. Not that you would swallow *any* mouthwash.

I like Listerine (sp?) but the Orange one, not the blueish one.

Hydrogen peroxide is highly effective at killing germs, even more so than Listerine. However, don't use it often -- my hygenist told me that it can cause your gums to recede, almost as if you're killing off the germs with acid.

Listerine. I've used it since I was 13 and I've never had cavities!

HAVEN'T USED IT BEFORE. YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO TRY AND SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT.
