If I have a quite pale complexion with none or harldy any freckles, and remotly wavy hair, should I dye my hair brown or black?

Black would look good with a pale complexion, but if you're coloring it yourself with a kit, buy the darkest brown color instead because it often comes out one shade darker and ends up looking like a soft, natural black.

Black will make you look washed out. Brown will soften up your face by bringing out your skin's natural radiance. This in turn should give your face better definition. Black is too harsh against pale skin & you'd probably rather compliment your face than make yourself look more pale. Go for a brown. If you do choose black hair, please wear some type of blush or bronzer so you don't look like death! That look definitely isn't & won't ever be in style.

ive got a pale complexion and a few freckles and wavy hair, nothings stoped me ive got light brown hair, makes ur hair lighten up dnt do black, it will make you look like a ghost.

go with a dark brown.
black is lovely on lots of people, but if you're TOO pale, it'll wash you out and make you look witch-like! the ash browns are kind of ugly, so stay away from those.

Stay in the brown family on the warm side so that your complexion doesn't get washed out.

well it depends on the kind of look your searching for.. my friend had similar freatures to yours and dyed her hair black... i think it was very flattering on her but also very dramatic.. the pale skin against the black hair really did stand out... before that she used to have brown hair which also looked good on her but made her complextion look a bit darker since there wasnt as big a contrast.. but the choice is your
dramatic standing out look - black
more humble sweet look - brown

Brown because for some reason you never (or almost never) see someone with freckles and black hair.

I think that brown with some carmel highlights thats always hott but its really up to you your the one that has to live with it so do what you think would look the best!
