I'm not bulimic, but sometimes I wish I was. Today, a kid called me fat and I ate 2 bags of chips! WHEN SOMONE CALLS YOU FAT YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO EAT CHIPS! I mean, I lost 6 pounds so far. I'm 13, 5'3, and 122 pounds. I was 127! But still, while I ate the chips, I forgot everything he said about me, but when I was finshed I was thinking, wow, you really are fat. I wish I could just throw it up and pretend it never happened. I'm just afraid I'll keep throwing up...

I'm so sick of the bs. I think it's okay to throw up once in a while. Being bulimic isn't fun though. It makes you more plump. Sometimes i binge eat and i want nothing more but to get it out of me. Laxtives don't really work for that.. bc all the food still goes through you and your body still absorbs some of it. I can't throw up anymore... it just..doesn't work. and i wasn't even ever one of those crazy bulimics who do it every day. ((Which..that's another reason not to become bulimic bc after a while it will stop working, and you'll damage your throat and rot your teeth.)) ((Also, if you have a naturally strong stomach, it can be difficult to throw up.)) But if you do something like..stick your toothbrush/fingers/or something else down your throat, then make sure you keep it there even if you have to gag, cough, or spit. Because if you give up for even a second it will make it that much more difficult to throw up. I've heard that drinking vinegar, or warm salt-water can make you throw up, i just havn't figured out how much yet ((don't ever resort to ipecac or something dangerous like that.)) Sometimes it's easier or harder to throw up depending on what you're trying to throw up. For example, ice cream is rather easy to throw up.. rather than..hard cereal or something solid and heavy. Sometimes you'll find tips to drink a lot of water right before you throw up, but the downside to that is.. when all of that comes back up.. the water has mixed with your stomach acid and it gets all over your teeth which rots it ((so if this happens, don't brush your teeth immediately after.. use mouthwash or something.)) Don't worry about never being able to stop. It's all about willpower! So stay strong!

I have had that feeling many of times. Your not fat. I'm 13 also, I way 117 and im 5'2 i used to weigh like 127 also, i wouldnt worry about what some kid called you, I dont know how i lost weight but i did, eat whatever you want and just try to stay active.

Stop throwing up. Forget about him. If you are 13.....your
body is changing, maturing. If you think you are fat then do
away with the chips and eat more fruit......or do more activity
to make up for the chips......exercise and eat right......that is the ONLY WAY that you will not BECOME FAT!!!
Remember that other people try to make themselves feel better
by putting other people down. Basically, this kid has their own insecurities.......so dont let him/her get you down.

First of all you are not fat. The kid that said it is a dumbass. You should not worry about what other people think. Wow, you ate, there's nothing wrong with that and just because the kid called you fat does not mean it is true. Dont throw up, thats bad. Ignore the kid.

don't be bulimic. there a lot of horrible side effects that come with being a bulimic. the acid from your puke will over time erode the enamel on your teeth. it messes up your body on the inside.
bulimics also don't lose weight. they stay at the same weight overall. its just a bad lifestyle.
don't be anorexic either. if you become anorexic you could shut down your ovaries and no longer get your period. which will make you not be able to have kids. for life. you can have heart problems. shrink in height. and damage other parts of your body.
so just dont listen to the guy. if hes calling you names then hes most likely insecure with himself.

You really out to get some help. Throwing up to lose weight is the beginning of a real problem that could end up messing you up forever.
It doesn't sound like you're real fat, but if you're starting to believe it, it's a real problem.
See if you can get some help from your school counselor. If that doesn't work, talk to your parents about getting private counseling.

You should never alter the way you look for anyone but yourself sweetie. That guy is an angry, self-concious ***, plain and simple. As hard as it is to listen to me, don't pay one ounce of attention to him and act as though it doesn't bother you. He will be the one who ends up looking like the moron in the long run. Karma is a *****, believe me. What comes around, will go around!
Just try to start participating in more sport activities or start walking every evening, to get your blood/heart pumping. Try alternatives to chips, like carrots or something healthier and try to eat smaller portions. NEVER EVER starve yourself or purge to attain a weight goal. It's very dangerous and could kill you in the long run. Good luck hun!

Don't EVER start doing that!!! You need to learn to ignore what other people say and just work on eating better and get exercise. If you really want to take the weight off it will take time and effort. I'm trying to take off some weight too so I know you'd like it to just be gone now but it does NOT work that way.

ok. i know this is hard to believe, but bulimia actually makes u fatter. at first, ull lose like 4 pounds, but eventually ur body learns to absorb the nutrients in the food faster, so u gain wait. so if u wanna be skinnier, throwing up will do that opposite. talk to ur dr. or ur parents and ask them if u can go on a diet, becausse u wanna be healthy. diets are healthy for u. because ur not starving urself. good luck!
