make a paste of turmeric powder and neem oil or tea tree oil.
apply and put a bandage over it. The fungus will be completely gone in 3 or 4 days.
Also, it would prolly be wise to cut out all sugar and wheat flour products for a couple weeks. It is possible that the fungus is systemic by now. If that is the case, take 2 neem bark capsules and 1 turmeric capsule and 1 black walnut capsule per day for a month.

Diflucan was made especially for women for yeast infections. I've never heard of giving diflucan for ringworm. A ringworm is a fungal infection. Are you sure you have ringworm? An antifungal cream is best for ringworm.....like athlete's foot cream. Unless your doctor doesn't think it's a ringworm. Please keep in mind that I am NOT a doctor. You may need to get a second opinion. Best of luck to you.

I don't know if Diflucan will cure your ringworm problem, but I know for a fact that using Blue Star Ointment will clear it up fast. You can purchase it at any retail store Walmart, K-Mart, Kohls, etc... My grandmother told me about it, not a doctor.

You sound like my daughter! She rescued a sickly kitten and the vet said that the bald patches were because of severe malnutrition. A week later (vacationing in Arizona!) she develops these circles. A MD said it's probably ringworm. BUT he only gave us a Rx for Lamisil (which, you don't even NEED a prescription for Lamisil!) I want to call back and get a RX for Diflucan. To help you, though, I read that you need to take one dose every week for 3-4 weeks. good luck!

The only product that cleared up ringworm for me, was iodine.
I applied it 3 times per day and it was gone in less than a week.

Diflucan will take 3-4 weeks to work. I'd wait until Monday and see if the spots look at all lighter. If not, give the doc a call as he may want to change the medication.
Be sure you're using a clean towel after every shower, rinsing the soap off very well after use, and washing your towels with hot water and bleach so you're not reinfecting yourself. Change your bed sheets and sleepware often too.
