I am creating a customer database for a client using customer completed record cards. A lot of people have put Oxon down as their county but as far as I can make out, there is no such county as Oxon. Help!!

Its the abrieviation for Oxfordshire. The main town in that county being Oxford. I know this cos I m from Bucks, the county Oxon is joined to.

Thats so funny, I was driving behind a lorry today and noticed the address of the company printed on the back was in Oxon and I thought the same, where is Oxon? Type it in to one of the route planners or wwww.multimaps.com....

SE Washington DC is not a bad part of town. You are referring to Anacostia, Maryland, right across it. Oxon Hill, Maryland is a bad part of town. It along with Anacostia are located in Prince George's County, the worst county in terms of crime and jobs in Maryland.

It stands for Oxfordshire, a county. Perhaps people are mis-reading the word "Country" on your form as "County".
