If you turn floor tile upside w/ the adhesive on it and let your cat walk on it it is so funny.

I reused ceramic tiles to make outdoor candle holders. To reuse on a floor, the tile would need to be undamaged and very clean.

Absolutely! I reused tile my friend took out of her condo; with the broken pieces, I made a mosaic frame to match my new tile flooring.

What type? Ceramic or stone, sure, just get the adhesive off the back. Vinyl et al......it might be too brittle. Still if it comes up without cracking, you can get the adhesive off and it won't be subjected to heavy traffic or falling objects......I guess so. Most of the stuff I've stripped up was brittle and useless.

I do not believe so. once the tile is up your lucky to have it in 1 peice anyway but if you can good luck

crushed, it makes good land fill.
The cost of removing old glue is way too high.
Unless it is 200 year old or more tiles in old European buildings, which I have cleaned recycled profitably.
