Don't bother hiring a steamer. Buy one.

Get a good CD on. Get a friend round.

Steam a patch for 10 seconds, Move along and crape where you just steamed. Get into a rhythm and the time will fly.

I recently stripped my entire flat of woodchip, and it took me weeks.

Male sure you use goggles if you're steaming the ceiling.

Hope this helps.

I got this new stripper, never heard of it before and don't know what it is called; but it had an extending handel and a removable blade which is much sharper than the all in one spatuala kind of stripper.

It worked really well.

My only real tip though is; pay someone else to do it

SOAK the wallpaper first...try Home Depot or Lowe's, see if they have wallpaper remover..
I would say getting it as wet as possible would be the easiest to get it off.

Warm soapy water in a spray bottle usually always does the trick. Spray it on generously and let it sit for a minute or two then go over it with a scrapper. Always works

it might have been said before, once or twice....but if you still haven't, get youself a steamer. just make sure you steam each patch long enough... and cover the floor with something that you can just bundle up and chuck coz that wet paper sticks to everything. and get some help. good luck
