The term paranoia is usually used to describe excessive concern about one's own well-being, sometimes suggesting a person holds persecutory beliefs concerning a threat to themselves or their property and is often linked to a belief in conspiracy theories

excellent point!
what happens overseas is actual persecution.

persecution is NOT an inclusive holiday greeting that recognizes other philosophies than your own.
persecution is NOT a religion-neutral public space.
persecution is NOT using the real version of the Pledge of Allegience.

Well...that is a good definition of paranoia...now what the heck did you mean by "Christian paranoia". I am a Christian, I do not think God is out to get me...he does talk to me but no strange messages like, GO SPIT ON THAT FOOL and I talk to him, but its usually about stuff you know, I or someone else needs help with (we Christians call that praying).

I don't think anyone from online is going to come after me for posting on a silly answers site.

I gave up believing the FBI was following me when I stopped smoking weed twenty years ago. I really do not care what anyone thinks other than my family and my friends and most of all, my God.

I know The DaVinci Code is fiction and so if the Left Behind series and I certainly do NOT believe the Jews are responsible for the WTC attack on 9/11. President Kennedy...well...most people my age and up still have a lot of questions about that...but it was sort of a mass paranoia type thing.

So doc, what is it I am supposed to be paranoid about.

No, the Christian Persecution Delusion (CPD) comes from an inflated sense of entitlement that makes them feel the pettiest slight as persecution. It's a terrible, rampant mental illness among Christians.

I'm not paranoid, but I am wondering about your obsession with a religion you pretend to not believe in?
