My hair is brown and I was thinking I'd dye it blonde... do you think it'd look good on me???? I wanna do something differen't, but everyone tells me not to do it because I look beautiful already how I am... but thats not why I wanna do it... I wanna see how I look and like I said try something differen't for once. But my eyebrows are thin and very light brown, do you think blonde hair would look stupid?

Of my observations, I have seen a lot of girls/women die their hair and almost always, they look better with their natural color.

I have blue/greeny eyes and I am (was) a natural blonde. My natural blonde is a dark blond... so what my hair dresser does is streaks my hair with a really light blonde highlight, and a brown low light... so in the end I've got 2 shades of blond, and one shade of brown to break the colour up. Maybe you should try that? Keep your natural brown... and do a lighter brown, and blonde highlights. It will look more natural and won't be as drastic.

** Word of advice though... do the whole head, and make sure the stylist does small streaks not the 'chunky ones'

If I was you, I would consider going to a wig shop and trying on a few looks before you commit. Blonde can be lovely and dramatically different - and it can be a pain to maintain, once those roots start coming in. I might suggest a red shade. They can look a lot more natural on a brunette and when your roots come in it is not so easily noticed. Also a highlight treatment can be a great way to make a noticeable difference, but keep people in the dark about exactly what you have done differently.

Peace!

I think that first of all, it's your hair and you should be able to do with it what you want. Instead of going DRASTICALLY blonde, why don't you start out but just going a shade or two lighter or even just start out with highlights. I have naturally red hair and when I told everyone that I was going to dye it--well they freaked! So instead of just dying it blonde like I wanted, I got blonde chunky highlights and it looks really great, if you want to I.M. or e-mail me I can show you pictures. Thats my advice though, just go a shade lighter to lighter to lighter until you get the shade that you think looks the best.

I think that your hair is an expression of yourself... If you are on the fence about dying your totally blond try putting in some blond highlights and once you get used to that go with a couple more blond highlights... That way if you don't like it you can go back to brown.... Good Luck

No the only thing with getting your hair dyed blonde is get it done by a professional. I've seen people who do it on their own and it turns out to be more like a golden orange color.

i have blue eyez that change to green with whatever i have on, i also have blonde hair... i get alot of complements on how i look.
why don't you try something like keeping your brown hair color and having heavy blonde highlights thru out it... That will be different, but cool!

your eye color has no bearing on what color you want to color your hair.. What is your skin tone? I have pale/fair skin tone and I have black hair (however mine is natural). instead of coloring all of your hair one color, try getting some blonde highlights in it. it will add depth and give you something new. I am sure you will enjoy it.. but trust me, with brown hair, don't go all the way blonde. you will end up orange.

Instead of going completely blond try some fun chunky blond highlights - that way you don't completely commit.
Happy Highlighting!

I personally do not like blondes with different colored eyebrows. I like brunette dames more anyway. Why dont you get a blonde wig and see. Brunettes are smarter and not so airy.

well if your aren't sure about it, you could always try the hair dyes that wash out in a week. i am not sure of the brand but i know they have it at target.
