Hey....Im Bipolar too. It's tough.....
I just wanted to tell you to hang in there. It took me MANY years to figure out what I wanted to do. Sometimes I am still not sure. But, what I learned was not to put pressure on myself trying to figure it out...When you put pressure on yourself, it just makes you more stressed, more depressed, and chances are you can't think clearly anyway.
Take a deep breath. And most importantly work on taking care of yourself! Work with your doctor on getting out of the depression. That should be your first goal, so that you can feel better.
Do you have any pets or good friends? Look to them for special treatment when under depression.
You have time...Life will work out when you are feeling better and taking care of yourself. Trust me.....I have been there and spent 7 months in depression and was in the hospital. I kept looking for the answers during this time and it wasn't until I got myself better (with the help of my doctor!!!) that I began to see things clearly.

I'm bipolar too. I didn't get enough help and got worse over the years. Now I'm closer to God, go to church, and take pills. I tried many different pills until I found ones that worked. It may take time. Have hope. If you're on pills and it has been over six weeks, but they don't seem to work then ask to make a change. Insist that you need help faster. A doctor can talk to you about the dosage or a new med. Maybe you should find a new doctor if that person doesn't seem to help you enough. I hope you have a therapist too.

I'm in agreement with both of the first 2 answers
So:
Do yoga, and think about a happier time in your past where you were totally comfortabe, happy and loved. And remember of your stressed out/ depressed times "this too shall pass".
Life is good! If you didn't have the rainstorms, you'd get sick of the sun!!!!

There are exceptions to the following.
Sometimes it comes down to discipline. You don't do something because it feels good or feels right. You don't do something because you want to. You do something because you know it is the right thing to do. You eat because it's the right thing to do. You do your studies for the same reason. Your actions are not dependent upon your feelings. You can still make decisions without feeling anything. It is about discipline.
There is some simple advise from the bible. "To him who knoweth to do good and doeth it not, it is sin". By contrast, to him who knoweth to not do evil and doeth it, it is sin. Sometimes it comes down to just doing the good that you know you should do anyway whether you feel like it or not.

try doing something that will connnect your mind to your body....like yoga.... i know it can be hard to find the motivation when depressed but once you get started you will feel better..
i have schizoaffective disorder bipolar type...so i have been through terrible down times too.... times when i wanted to die...
during that time you should try pampering yourself.... go get a pedicure or manicure or something.. or a new haircut.... something to make you feel a little bit better.. when we take care of our outsides we feel a bit better on the inside too....
i know that can be hard to do.. heck sometimes it can be hard to just shower or get out of bed... but you can do this...
