my bf is a new Christian and, as expected, the devil is attacking him where it hurts most, his family. he gets very frustrated and is also worried that he might dissapear again and have no memory of what hapened, which is what hapened to him at the begining of this year. ive been trying to explain to him that things are different now because he's living for God, but hes still a wreck. last time i gave him spiritual advise he didnt really listen to me but paid attention when a friend of his told him the same exact thing i told him. sometimes i feel like he doesnt trust me, but i dont want to push him to tell me stuff. ive already told him that im always there for him and w/e but i dont know what to do to anymore...

I have learned from knowing many couples where one is a new Christian that you cannot press him. Pray for him as much as possible, and just be there for him and support him. Get as many Christian men around him as you can and just let them help him. For some reason new Christian men don't seem to take in the info from their partners as they do from other men. PRAY PRAY PRAY. God bless!

Pray.

Get alone with God, and pray. There's power in prayer.

Yes, when we become a Christian, sometimes the battles begin, because the adversary used to have us where he wanted us, but now he's fighting.

Your boyfriend, being a new believer, needs Christian counseling. Get him to see your pastor, or a mature Christian. He's very vulnerable right now, since he is a "babe".

So, the best thing you can do is PRAY and find him someone who is very mature in the faith to help him.

Put your feelings aside (ie "I feel he doesn't trust me"). This isn't about you. If you aren't the one God has chosen to help him, then be humble and seek out someone who will. Pray that God will bring the person into his life to help him.

Remember, God is in control. We pray and then we LISTEN and KEEP OUR EYES OPEN for His answer.

I will pray for him, too.

Your heart is in the right place, and you're doing the right things. Maybe talking to a minister/reverend will help, but keep talking and listening to him & be persistent. Pray for him and pray with him. Take him to church often. I'll pray for the both of you. God bless.

WHOAH Back up a bit! He disappered with no memory of what happened? Maybe he should see a doctor before anything else. That can be serious.

what do you mean he disappeared and has no memory of what happened? devil doesnt attack people, unless your claiming the devil is omnipresent such is god. i doubt the devil would roam around haunting your bf. im sure he has "bigger fish to fry"

do him a favor and talk him out of christianity...its clearly killing him.

the worst thing you can do is PRAY for him. that is totally useless and a waste of both of your time.

pray to God....there are demons and evil spirits attacking his soul and mind, they do this, they did it to me, when i was 5, thing is i saw it and said "go away in Christ name" and poof...scared the BLEEP outta it lol ...there are evil spirits attacking your friend that can only go away with much prayer, if he wont pray for himself, take it upon youself to pray for Him..He has accepted Christ so the Spirit is with Him also....The Holy Spirit will respond to your prayers... dont talk to him about it so much, talk to God about it often...and HE will bring it to your obviously dear friend's attention..God bless
