well who knows. That was a loong time ago. The world was very different.
Of course if you try to transplant todays beliefs,laws,ideas into that world ofcourse things will be looked at different.

Yes, i see what you are saying, i do think its wrong. But if that is the girls religion and she goes along with it then there not much that could be done. But it is very wrong in my opinion
