"Leak like a sieve". A sieve is a pan with a mesh bottom, like a big strainer. Obviously a sieve does not hold water. It "leaks like a sieve."

Depends on what you're talking about. SIV is simian immunodeficiency virus, located in chimpanzees and is actually the first virus that became HIV when passed to humans, I'm assuming that since this is in the infectious disease category that this is the answer you wanted...hope it helps!
