I would imagine that the pay at British Airways is comparable to the other airlines that are operating in Britain.

From the website: http://www.careers-scotland.org.uk/CareerInformation/Occupations/TransportandDistribution/AirTransport/FlightAttendant.asp

Pay and Opportunities
The pay rates given below are approximate. Flight attendants earn in the range of £210 - £250 a week, rising to £350 - £450. Higher earners can make around £540 a week. Permanent staff normally benefit from low-cost air travel.

Did you notice that currently British Airways is not hiring Flight Attendants? However, here are some other airlines that you may be interested in trying:

Maria, if you are serious about getting a Flight Attendant job, and want a mentor, please feel free to e-mail me. You really seem dedicated to this idea, and I would be happy to answer any of your questions in detail without your having to post them in this answer forum.

As a general rule, I have noticed that people who have some life experiences are much easier to work with, and have a fabulous work ethic. I wish you lots of luck getting your Flight Attendant job; you'll most likely be fabulous at it... Too bad I won't be flying with you (I'm in the United States).
