I have heard it takes the liver one hour. So if I had one drink, in one hour there would be no sign of alcohol in my body? I have also heard that for every drink you have, it takes that many hours for it to disappear. Anyone know about this? thanks.

I differs from person to person due to differances in body mass and matabolism. Generally speaking it takes 1 hour to process 1 drink (1 12 ounce beer or 1 1 ounce hard drink). This is assuming that you are only drinking a single drink per hour. If you drink a lot in a short amount of time the process can slow down.

Rule of thumb and it holds.
1 drink 1 hour for your liver to process it. There is no short cut you just have a hour per drink.

one serving of alcohol, let's say a glass of wine or so will take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour for the average person. Now, if you were getting totally wasted, it can take many hours or even a day or two. (That's like binging, though)

It depends on how much alcohol you consumed. For 12 oz of beer, it takes 3 hours to process. So just add it up.

when you breastfeed they tell you that you have to wait 24 hours and pump for all that 24 before you can feed your baby again...so Im gonna go with 24 hours
