I want to do a bible study at home, I plan on buying the material online and doing it with my husband. I am looking for something challenging, something that will make me think, but that isn't sooooooo crazy. I am Christian non-denominational, so something that will go along with growing in christ.

Wow, all the previous answers are really hateful. Anyways, I'm doing a teen bible study right now, which is awesome. You're required to read a couple verses 5 days a week, then there's a little interpretation that goes along with it. Also, the pages are divided into text and blank lines, so you can keep a journal about your thoughts and reflections on the day's study, so it's like you're writing half the book! The publisher is Student Life, but if you're looking for something more adult-oriented, the website may have some links to other publishers. It's a great starter, though, and I love the idea of keeping a journal to go along with your studies. God bless.

This may be a little older than what you're looking for, but I use materials from the Radio Bible Class. It's really just a little devotional book, but I enjoy reading them. It provides verses each day plus it breaks the Bible into sections to read each day so that you can read the Bible through in a year. One other comment- I am amazed at all of the immature, foolish comments made by all of the so-called "intellectuals" on here... I just read them and shake my head at their ignorance.

Well may have something that could suit you. It depends on what you want to study. Do you want a topical study? Or do you want to study a particular book?

One of the best books to Study is the Gospel According to Mark. This is a great gospel to read and always ask the question, "who is Jesus?" So many times our concept of Jesus is the stereotypical portrayal that we get in Sunday School as children. Now that we are adults we need to know Jesus on a deeper level. To know him as the dynamic follower of God that he is. In order that we may too follow in his steps.

If you are interested please IM me. I will not be on again, most likely, until early next week though.

I think that's a great idea!! But I suggest not buying online. It's better to buy from a bible bookstore or somewhere like that. The book of Matthew and Psalms are good to study from!!

This is the best. For inductive study of the Bible. I have found that few things compare to these studies of Precept Ministries.
