No all animals don't have the same blood type......group?

No they don't but matching type doesn't seem to be as critical for dogs. My nephews dog has become the emergency blood source. He gets called to donate all the time. He's a big dog and can spare the blood and he remains calm through the procedure.

No, they don't. In fact breeders of some species have to be very careful not to mix two specific blood groups if they are incompatible or the litter will die.

Dogs have blood types. They do not need to check type for the first transfusion, but they should for the second.

No, they don`t, I speak for the dog, however, mammals have differ ant blood types also.
