I guess if bullets keep whizzing past you that would be a sign.

Hmm, a toughie. For animals, it might be when you feel a big, black, bear nose sniffing up your rear end. Or you know you are being hunted by a human, when driving your car and two holes appear in your front windshield and you hear a shout of "I'll get you the next time."

If it done right, you will know just before you die (if that is the goal) or when you get caught.
You might hear some noises, if you listen carefully. For animals, they will be downwind, so you will not smell them. You might see them, if you are carefully looking around. If you make a big circle, you might see some tracks.
Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't after you.

When your being hunted you would experience stalking, and animals will follow u home until u feed them. do you mean haunted?

my my! Now, if you were being hunted by a sniper you wouldn't know anything about it , I'll wager. It would be like 'BANG!', 'Whoosh', 'Fud', 'Splurt!' and down you'd go with a hole in your face. That's what they taught me in the TA.

when the little hairs on your neck stand up, and you get this gut feeling that something is not right- you hold your breath to listen, but you can't quite tell- so you slowly turn around and you turn, turn and your turning and then- BAM!

if you know it the hunter is not any good. if you keep finding plastic people floating in your pool or standing in your yard like decoys trying to attract you...look out
