OK I am seriously confused. People come in the religion section that don't have a religion or just want to prove that their religion is right or something.
Anyone have the reason why these people feel the need to disagree with everything Christians say? If you don't believe in God then don't go to a question and just say it isn't true and stuff like that.
I am not being mean but it just confuses me so anyone have any reasons why????

People I am not saying that people should agree with me but when I ask a question about the Bible or something I don't want an answer like The bible isn't even true. Why people say stuff like that? jw

It's simple, really. Those who disagree or deny there is a God is spiritually blind, as the bible teaches - that's all. They have the free will that God gave them to believe what they want to believe, but unless they are enlightened to the truth of God's word, they will keep denying and defying God and they'll continue debating and arguing against Christians about what they say about God and His word. God's word is not up for debate. He didn't give His word for us to debate and argue over. You can't debate the truth! The reason why people dislike, hate or simply disagree with born again Christians such as myself is because they can't accept the truth as we tell it according to God - they despise the truth as many did in Christ's day. That is the reason why alot of people dislike or hate Christians. True born again Christians such as myself stick with the truth of God's word and we stand by what God says. Because of that reason, people are against Christians - period. Sad, but it's true.

The only thing that confuses me about this forum is why do the Christians automatically think it's all about them? HELLO there are more religions than just one, and the reason why people disagree with some of the Christians is because some (not all) are so narrow-minded and don't like questions they can't answer. It's not about God, religion, or anything else, it's about what a person can handle, and questions don't seem to be one of those things if it goes against their personal beliefs.

Well, christianity is the most outspoken in this country. That is why it is disagreed with the most. I disagree with hindu, muslim, pagan, wiccan, and anything that has a belief in a deity or "higher power"
I just don't have to debate against those religions as much, as they not the ones I come in contact with on a daily basis.

Why shouldn't we say that it's not true? People disagree so much with Christians because Christians are wrong about so much. It's really that simple. People say that the Bible isn't true because it isn't.
I'm sorry, but you're asking people to be dishonest, and to ignore the purpose of a site in which people ask questions and get answers. If you don't want to hear answers to questions, you obviously shouldn't be here.

We are group animals, like dogs. We need to have our group be like us so that we feel we are all one. Some people can tolerate differences better than others, but all have this 'groupie' need to some extent. I would guess that the non-religious are here to convert others to their belief just like the born againers are to convert others to their belief. Both are doing it because they need validation of their own point of view. It they were more stubborn they could hang onto their belief even if the rest of the pack did not share it.

The reason I'm here is to make people ask questions and make them think. Blind faith is dangerous especially when it leads to extremism. Other than that, I'm cool.
Well, I Hate Islam but only because it's evil.
I like Muslims they are usually good people. They are just led by evil.
I'm not Christian. If you really want to know.
I'm Pastafarian.

this forum was meant to be a forum where people of different religions races and cultures come to meet new people and learn about each other's religion or non religion and share each other's religous or non religious beliefs and to learn something about different cultures and whatnot but instead it's used to convert and deconvert people into and from religion and to debate each other's beliefs anyway i'm agnostic and i hope i helped you out in anyway although i see that both sides are hostile towards one another

I agree. Some people though, really want answers so they come off as bluffers or try to demean you and belittle your faith. The best thing is to answer each question open and honestly. Christianity is the biggest faith, alongside Buddhism and there will be opposition: the question is, where is the opposition coming from? Hate? Or a quest to know the truth?

Are you saying only Christians are allowed to be interested in religion?
There are people who will disagree with you. I disagree with the Muslim point of view, the Christian point of view, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster point of view. But just because I disagree with them doesn't mean I can't learn from them.
If I avoided everything that I disagreed with, then I'd have a very boring life.
Besides, I like to bring questions to people's minds. An unexamined life is not worth living.
Although, I do not just "go to a question and just say it isn't true." I try to bring reason and perspective to every question I answer. Perhaps I am not your intended audience for this question.

Why do Christians - by the multitude - feel the need to comment on anything related to witchcraft, Wicca or Paganism by being rude, sarcastic, insulting, threatening, and condemning us to hell? Wicca and Paganism are religions too. And yes, Christians are exclusively the ones who do this, not Atheists, Agnostics, Buddhists, Jews or Muslims, that I have noticed.
