it says in the bible that homosexuality is a sin and that gays and our lifestyle choices is wrong i honestly think that when the bible was being written somebody put in the bible that being gay is unatural then when people started reading the bible they believed that the scriptures where probably true and rest is history and i dont think our loving jesus christ and god would think that about gays knowing that we are born that way and didnt choose to be gay that is my two cents.

Believe the whole bible or none of the bible, please...

If you don't believe that the bible is the inspired word of God, then how can you believe that Jesus is the messiah? You have to remember that God destroyed entire cities because of homosexuality, Sodom and Gomorrah ring a bell? That is where the word sodomy comes from. You need to get in line with God. Yes, God does love everyone. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, but we have to at least attempt to follow God's commandments. God spoke the commandments from mount Sinai in the book of Leviticus.

" 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. " - Leviticus 18:22

If you don't believe that God said those things, then you are just picking and choosing what you want to believe. The foundation of your Christian beliefs are not very strong if you just get to pick what you want.

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders" - 1 Corinthians 6:9

It is not a sin to be attracted to men, but depending what actions you take towards men is where sin can come into affect.

I am sorry that you believe you were born that way. The Bible teaches on homosexuality obviously because it is wrong. I'll give you two quick things. In Genesis when God created Adam, Adam could not find any thing he could mate with. So, God took one of Adam's ribs and made Eve (a woman, not another man), someone that man could mate with. Another thing is when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, you will read that the men in the city told Lot to let those newcomers(actually Angels) out so the could have sex with them. That was the very reason God was displeased with that city and destroyed it(homosexuality). And Our loving Jesus didn't come to do away with the laws but to fulfill them. Yes, He loves you and everyone else that excepts Him, but now is the time to stop questioning whether or not it's right but seek God's face for the answer.

Most of the stuff people relate to as being about gays isn't (i.e. Sodom and Gomorrah, etc.) and the rest are cultural things written at a time when people felt that what was most important was propagating the race... so masturbation was demonized along with anything else that didn't support increasing the numbers within the religous/cultural group.

Homophobes interpret the Bible literally or have an overgrown "ick" factor. BTW... we don't consider this a "lifestyle" we're living... we're just LIVING.

The Bible's ultimate author is God. When Moses wrote the passages in the Old Testament against homosexuality, it was circa 1400 B.C. The later passages against homosexuality were written by Paul, circa 60 A.D.

The Bible was written by 40 or so people, over a 1500 year period. There was no conspiracy by "homophobic persons." (Unless you count God, who calls the sin an abomination.)

The Bible primarily is comprised of what GOD thinks and says about things, not mankind. Homosexuality is a sin because God has said it was, not because of what men think.

No because God is not homophobic. He loves you just like he loves all the rest of us sinners.

well seeing as religions is around to control the masses... or maybe the person who created it though, well homosexuality isnt natural, it cannot procreate, so it must be a sinful act. who knows.
