At what pace? I ran a half-marathon at 6:51/mile pace, but I once ran 21 miles around 8:45/mile pace.

If I run continuously at a fairly constant pace, I'm good for a half-marathon at about an 8min/mile pace. If I can stop to grab food and fluids and then carry on at a slower pace, maybe even take some walking breaks, then I've done 50 miles before sitting down.

What constitutes stopping? If I slow down to grab water an come to a walk..does that count? If I am on the road and have to stop for like 5 seconds at an intersection?

My longest is 31 miles...usually just stick to half and full marathons

Im a track athlete on my school and one of our trainings was to run at an oval on a 6 min/mile. i ran at a state-wide meet wherein 500 athletes competed at the 60-mile race, i never stopped cause i even grabbed fluids while running, even drank while running, but got cramps during the last km.. finished 7th though.
