It isn't.
The problem is, there are alot more jerks out there in the guy world than there are nice guys, so girls assume that all guys are dishonest jerks. Not so.
What you need to do is actually wait for a nice guy to come along, and just not date a jerk. Believe it or not, it is ok to be single for awhile *gasp!* And its ok to say no to somebody you like if you know they're bad for you *double gasp!*
Patience is a virtue, my friend. Learn it.

Well, there are many different reasons. But the first thing that comes to mind: It's easier. When girlfirneds ask if you've ever had sex with anyone they know, have ever cheated on anyone, or see yourself being ready for marriage within the next year or so, honest answers don't seem to be the smart way to go. Saying what women want to hear makes our lives easier. Period

look child right now most guys are trying to have as much sex as possible. just because you think your special your not. ur just a vagina thats hangs out. you want security get w/ an older guy who already ran thru a generation of chicks who he has no more interest in. this is the cold hard truth. sorry. no matter what you do . you are just a vagina. good luck in the furture love happens after 25. look at the stats on people who get married before 25 and their divorce rates. you will see the light.

Because most women take things more personal than guys do. They have a tendency of making a big deal out of something that is not really that bad. So to avoid fights and hurt feelings taht can put stress on a relationship, we lie a little.
If you are referring to about cheating, stealing from them, or anything else major though, then it is because those guys are cowards and just plan dicks.

because usually people potray a different side of their personality in a relationship....they show their best sides to impress the other person.....so its not a question of guys doing this alone..even gurls do that....n when the truth comes out the relation falls apart...so its important to be honest whether ur a gurl or a guy..

Everyone has trust issues, men and women both, it's about getting to a point where they can be honest and sometimes it takes time to build those bonds of trust. So give him time!

Insecurity... A man is supposed to be a "man" and honesty usually doesn't fall into this category. Once you have been together for a while, though, these dishonest moments should be gone, along with the insecurity,and if not.... Maybe he should be gone then too.

It takes maturity in order to be at a point in one's life when important values such as honesty will be a major factor in one's life. Otherwise people sometimes lie for a payoff. You lie to someone to get somethng from them, as thier time, love, sex, etc. It is not just guys that lie, many people as well as girls lie too. When a guy is young he learns that telling a girl what he feels she wants to hear will get him what he wants from her, which it is usually sex.

Guys can never be honest till they have faith on their GF,that takes time, being the most emmotional being they never take chances and their manly natuer does not allow them to breakdown.
