and try to pick her up thing. We are just looking for something to spice thing up a little. Wife and I are thinking about trying this. You, at least we have heard about it alot. We are trying to set the ground rules. Not waring wedding rings, can we talk/dance with others. This seems so simple when first brought up but there are lots of things to talk about first. For any one who had done this how did it go? Would you do it again?

Shellber, Thats right about the song. I had not thought of that untill you brought it up. At least I think that is what that song is about.

ohhh man!! The pina colada song!!
I think that is sweet to do, I havent done it--but be sure to set the ground rules before leaving the house--it's hard to predict what other drunk people will do.

good luck!!

oh yea, lol-that is what the song is about.
you should find the lyrics online--and go along with it like they do in the song.
I think lyricsworld.com might have them
good luck again!! it's sounds like fun, even if you go to a bar at a not too busy time

My husband and I jokingly pretend not to know each other. I've always wondered about the whole "pina colada song" type thing.

Some of the things I recommend to keep the relationship fresh is keep getting to know each other. So many times you get focused on being mom and dad you for get who each other are as people. Go on dates that lead to talking like walk around a museum or an art gallery. Go to a dollar theater and spend your time making out and not watching the movie. Do something totally out of the ordinary, like take a dance class together, find a cooking class. Rent a hotel room buy some of the Kama Sutra products ask her to wear you favorite outfit of hers have a nice dinner some champagne and have at it.

Good Luck and have fun!

We have never done that and doubt that we ever will. If you choose to do it be careful especially your wife. If a man is trying to "pick her up" and finds out she is playing a game he might not take it well. I'm sure others would totally understand though. Maybe kids could stay the night somewhere and you could hire your wife to play french maid or something.

I couldn't do it, it would seem too weird, knowing it was all a lie. Still, if thats what floats your boat... b careful tho, she might just like it alittle too much

omg! This would cause so much trouble with me and my hubby. He would get jealous if I danced with someone else, as would I. Then there would probably be a big bar fight!!
