There is only one creator of the universe, so it stands to reason that there is one God who created it. And because he is God there should be only one way to worship him. So with all the different religieons in the world which one does God approve of??

There is only ONE TRUE GOD.
Ephesians 4:3-6 says "earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all." So you see, there is One God, and One Faith.

Then we also have Jeremiah 32:39 "And I will give them one heart and one way in order to fear me always, for good to them and to their sons after them" So you see from this scripture that we have been given ONE heart, so our worship has to be in unity.

Here is an article that tells you how to identify the TRUE religion and how the end of false religion is near.

It's impossible to say what God approves of because God isn't talking. However, since there's more than one way for people to love each other maybe there's more than one way to honor God.

There's no agreement on who or what God(s) is so choosing a religion to be the ONE true religion is pointless. However, all the major religions teach some version of the golden rule (Do onto others...) and that seems to be the essence of what's good about religion. If your religion leads you to practice the golden rule it's good religion and it doesn't matter if you worship the great pumpkin. If your religion leads you to oppress others it's bad religion and it doesn't matter if you think Jesus is your personal savior.

Just about each and every one of the religions on Earth claim that they are the only right way and their God is the only God. So who's to say who is correct? Should we study every religion for years on end in hopes of making a decision during this lifetime? Is this our purpose in life? If we choose one, then the others criticise us and damn us to hell for our choice.
You ask what does God approve. I can't give you a solid answer, and neither can anyone else. Best of luck on your quest.

1 God, 1 religion. God has revealed himself in only 1 way, through Jesus Christ, if you believe that, then Christianity is the one true religion that will save you.

God approves of Christianity because it is the right one.

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.  Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’  And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

Jesus said: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:35) Such love reaches across racial, social, and national boundaries, drawing people together in genuine brotherhood. So strong is this love that it sets them apart as being truly different. When the nations go to war, who have enough love for their Christian brothers in other lands that they refuse to take up arms and kill them? That is what early Christians did.
Jesus said that his true followers would be “no part of the world.” (John 15:19) To worship God in a manner that he approves requires that we keep ourselves “without spot from the world.” (Jas. 1:27) Can that be said of those whose clergy and other members are involved in politics, or whose lives are largely built around materialistic and fleshly desires?—1 John 2:15-17.
Jesus foretold: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” (Matt. 24:14) What religion is really proclaiming God’s Kingdom as the hope of mankind instead of encouraging people to look to human rulership to solve their problems? Has your religion equipped you to share in this activity, and to do it from house to house as Jesus taught his apostles to do?—Matt. 10:7, 11-13; Acts 5:42; 20:20.
Jesus said in prayer to God: “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world.” (John 17:6) He declared: “It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.” (Matt. 4:10) Has your religion taught you that ‘it is Jehovah you must worship’? Have you come to know the Person identified by that name—his purposes, his activities, his qualities—so that you feel you can confidently draw close to him?

the religions that apply his rules (10 commandments) and that worship and glorify him. It doesn't make sense for him to approve of religions that worship cows and statues.

Islam allows religious pluralism but that doesn't necessarily mean that Muslims believe in the idea that there's another way to salvation besides Islam. Religious pluralism is taught by Islam because God has made it clear that there is no compulsion in religion, hence allowing non-Muslims to freely practise their own religion. The spirit of religious pluralism is embodied in the Charter of Privileges granted in 628 C.E. by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the monks of St. Catherine Monastery in Mt. Sinai.

An English translation of that document is presented below:

This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.
Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them.
No compulsion is to be on them.
Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries.
No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses.
Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.
No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight.
The Muslims are to fight for them.
If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray.
Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.
No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).

In addition:

"If one goes by the Qur'anic pronouncements Islam not only accepts the legitimacy of religious pluralism but considers it quite central to its system of beliefs. There are very clear statements to this effect. First we will refer to the verse 5:48 in this respect. The verse goes as follows:" Unto every one of you We have appointed a (different) law and way of life. And if Allah had so willed, He could surely have made you all one single community: but (He willed it otherwise) in order to test you by means of what He has given you. Vie, then, with one another in doing good works! Unto Allah you all must return; and then He will make you truly understand all that on which you were wont to differ." This is very seminal statement in favour of religious and legal pluralism which Muslims, specially the Muslim regimes, have not considered seriously. Many classical as well as modern commentators have commented on this significant verse...It is unfortunate that most of the Muslim countries do not adhere to this spirit of pluralism and diversity in the Qur'an and sunnah. The extremists and fundamentalists among the Muslims in these countries attack the spirit of pluralism and want to create a monolithic society.
