Do a Windows search (Start, Search, for Files & Folders) for one of the songs and see what directory Limewire has stored it in. You will find them all in that directory.

omg the same thing happened to me!!! i just deleted limewire and downloaded Ares Regular instead. it works for me and over half my songs were renewed

Limewire is famous for viruses. I would look at that first before you have other missing files.
You can use various undelete utilities available at download.com

Yes, If you search for "*.mp3" without the quotes in your entire computer, you will know if they are still around in a separate directory.
Guess "*.wma" will help also

re-download them or go to search and search the names of the songs....that might work because thats what happend to me... hope you get the songs back!!!

You must have done something wrong. They don't auto delete...
Check all your folders, maybe you moved them.
