Sillery is right! Besides, you also need to be more careful when writing as well, so take a little time to read over what you have just written. Sometimes a simple typo will make you look ignorant, and that's what you're trying to avoid!

What you mean is, "How can I learn to speak using more advanced vocabulary?"
Read! Try reading every day for twenty minutes at least. Reading is the best way to improve every aspect of your language skills. Read history books, joke books, fact books, poems, magazines, novels, fiction, fantasy, biographies.... Have fun improving your English!

Read, Read, Read. Classics, not just modern books. Read obviously Shakespeare, Dickens, read Pride and Prejudice, and any other works by her, forgive me I forget her name now.
Learn the words.
Think about them. Listen out for them. Try to use them in your basic conversation.
