My own thoughts: Perhaps it is due to lack of testosterone, or lack of interaction with people my own age [intrapersonal].

Don't worry about it. You'll be glad when you are in your 40's and you look like you are in your 30's. My husband always looked young. When we got married at 18, he looked 15. He's now in his late 40's and looks 10 years younger. The same with my daughter. She's 28 and could pass for 16.

Have you gone through some type of intense trauma prior to puberty? Going through something terrible such as a vicious dog attack or car accident can cause stunted growth and late maturation. Have you been tested for hormone levels?
